1. General

These terms and conditions govern your use of the Caterera website and the purchase of products from Cater Era (Pty) Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order or using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Cater Era (Pty) Ltd is a registered company in South Africa. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website following changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Orders & Pricing

• All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT unless stated otherwise.
• We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. If a product is listed at an incorrect price, we will contact you before processing your order.
• All orders are subject to product availability and payment confirmation.
• We reserve the right to limit quantities or refuse orders at our discretion.
• Bulk and custom orders may be subject to different pricing. Contact us for a quote.

3. Payments

We accept payments via PayFast, South Africa's trusted payment gateway. Payments are processed securely and your card details are never stored on our servers.

• Orders are processed once payment has been confirmed.
• Failed or declined payments will result in order cancellation.
• EFT payments must clear before orders are dispatched.

4. Delivery

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Please refer to our Delivery Information page for detailed shipping timelines and costs.

• Risk of loss transfers to you upon delivery to the carrier.
• Please inspect all goods upon delivery and report any damage within 24 hours.
• We are not responsible for delays caused by courier services or circumstances beyond our control.

5. Returns & Refunds

• Defective or damaged products may be returned within 7 days of delivery for replacement or refund.
• Products must be returned in their original packaging and in resalable condition (unless defective).
• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is defective or incorrect.
• Refunds are processed within 7-14 business days after we receive and inspect the returned product.
• Custom or special-order items are non-refundable unless defective.

6. Warranty

All products carry the manufacturer's warranty where applicable. Warranty claims must be directed to us first, and we will facilitate the process with the manufacturer on your behalf.

Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper installation, normal wear and tear, or unauthorized repairs.

7. Limitation of Liability

Cater Era (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product in question.
